New functionality
FBS-27570 Float groups extended with placement information
Float groups have been extended so that you can specify a full placement – department, section, collection, sub-collection – for each branch in the group. When a material is scanned at a branch in its float group, the placement is updated to what is configured for that specific branch. Each part can be set to "Keep current" so that the field is not changed when scanning.
The interaction with themes has been adjusted. The behaviour is unchanged if the theme itself has a float group, or if IMS controls the placement.
Existing float groups are not affected by the upgrade: All placement fields are set to "Keep current" so that materials float exactly as before, until specific placements are configured.
FBS-30653 Cataloguing of Marc21 records
The "Create bib. record" button has been moved from the bibliographic records search page to Catalogue->Cataloguing.
When creating, you can as before choose between available templates for records, as well as import from an XML file.
It is possible to edit Marc21 records from the detail view for bibliographic records. You can choose between simple and advanced cataloguing. In advanced cataloguing, all fields in the Marc21 record can now be edited.
FBS-32439 Send check-in receipt as notification
Under Check-in, an option has been added to send the check-in receipt as a notification to the borrower.
When finishing a check-in, the system sends a combined notification per borrower with the borrower's checked-in materials.
The notification can be configured under Admin->Notifications.
FBS-33827 Transfer of shelf mark to IMS
For libraries with integration to Cicero Catalogue and material logistics system (e.g. IMS):
When sending notifications with bibliographic record data, the configuration for Shelving system is now used to determine which data is transferred. You can choose between Classification and Shelf mark.
For users of DBC, it is always Classification that is sent to IMS, regardless of the new configuration. There are thus no changes for DBC libraries.
