By selecting the menu item ”Patrons” on the left-hand side, you can search for one or more patrons. You can use the search criteria to find the desired patron(s).
Search for a specific patron
In the ”patron” search field, you can find a patron by typing/scanning the patron no., patron card no., CPR no., CVR no., library no., unilogin or WAYF login. By clicking the camera icon you can scan a patron barcode using camera scanning, which may be relevant, for example, if you are using a smartphone. Read more under Enable/disable camera scanning.
It is also possible to find a specific patron based on name, email, phone and address.
If you have previously searched for a patron within the same logged-in session, you will also be able to access a history of previously searched patrons. Read more under Search history.
Search for multiple patrons
If you want to find multiple patrons, you can search using the following search criteria:
- Patron group (see below)
- Affiliated branch
- Not active since (finds patrons based on their most recent activity)
- Blocking reason
- Creation date
- Absence date
You can find some of the search criteria by clicking "More filters".
Find patrons in a specific patron group
To find a patron group, you can click the search icon in the patron group field. A modal window then opens, where you can select one or more patron groups in a hierarchical structure. You can filter the hierarchy by searching for a specific patron group in the filter in the top right-hand corner.
Search result
When the search is complete, the patrons found are displayed in a table. From the search results, you can also select the checkboxes on the left-hand side to perform actions on the selected patrons.
You can view additional information about a patron by clicking a patron, which opens the patron's detail page with an overview of patron information, loans, reservations, balance and messages.
