It is possible to edit several patrons at the same time in a quick and efficient way. The following patron information can be changed on several patrons at a time:
- Home branch
- Preferred language
- Blocking reason
How to do it:
- Search for patrons (see e.g. Search patron).
- Tick the checkbox next to the desired patrons. By clicking the top checkbox, all visible patrons are selected.
- Click "Edit" in the bottom right-hand corner.
- Make the desired changes and click "Save".
Save changes for all search results
If the changes are to be saved for all patrons matching the search criteria, you can search for all the patrons to be changed, select one of the patrons and click edit. After this, you can tick "Save changes for all search results" before you save the changes. In this way, all patrons will be updated at once, and you will avoid having to scroll all the way to the bottom of your search result. If this is the case, the update will take place in the background, so you can continue working in Cicero in the meantime. It may therefore take some time before the changes are visible in Cicero.
NOTE! You are not notified if the update fails for some of the patrons.
