It is possible to configure Cicero to send notifications to borrowers via physical letter in the following way:
- Setting up Cicero to handle physical letters
- Setting up notifications to be sent as physical letters
- Handling physical letters
Setting up Cicero to handle physical letters
Go to Admin > Notifications > Notification protocols > Letter notifications and set this to "Print in Cicero".
Setting up notifications to be sent as physical letters
When setting up notifications (see Setting up notifications), select "Letter" as the protocol for the notifications that should be able to be sent as physical letters.
If a notification's default protocol is set to "Letter", the notification is sent as a letter provided the borrower has chosen to receive notifications as letters.
A notification can only be sent as a letter if the address fields "Address", "Postal code" and "City" are filled in.
Always send as a physical letter
If a specific notification should always be sent as a physical letter, "Letter" must be set as both the default protocol and the alternative protocol for that notification.
Handling physical letters
Notifications to be sent as physical letters can be searched for and printed under Message handling (see Message handling).
