From the patron overview, it is possible to send a manually created message to one or more patrons. For these messages, you must specify a title and the message content. The message can contain predefined content, such as an introduction and a conclusion to the message, and it can also be configured which protocols the messages are sent via. This is configured under Admin > Notifications > Message to patron.
Messages to patrons are created as follows:
- Search for patrons
- Select the patron or patrons to send a message to by marking them on the left side of the list.
- Click the ”Send message” button at the bottom of the page.
- Specify ”Title” and ”Message”.
- Optionally click preview and select a protocol you want to see a preview for.
- Click ”Send” to send the message.
Messages are now sent to the selected patrons. If the message is sent as SMS, the ”Title” will not be used.
