This release note describes updates to Cicero Explore released with version 7.12.0, 2026-04-28.
The target audience is super users and system administrators.
In connection with the release, there will be extended downtime while data is processed. Explore is expected to be available again during Wednesday (Wednesday morning for CIC customers).
New functionality
FBS-30118 Extension to reports for loans and materials
Two new reports have been added:
"Discarded and lost materials" – shows discarded and lost materials based on quantity and value, broken down by branch and department.
"Acquisition per supplier" – gives an overview of delivered and delayed materials per supplier, with the option to drill down into the supplier agreement and view deliveries split into time intervals (on time, 1–3 days late, 4–7 days late, 8+ days late), as well as a list of delivered materials per title and material type.
The following existing reports have been extended with new filters and columns:
– The "Top 50 loaned materials" report has been renamed to "Most loaned materials". It has been extended with a filter on material group, a column for Faust number, and the option to choose the number of loaned materials shown (top 20, 30, 50, 75, 100).
– The "Loans per hour" report has been extended with filters on borrower group and material type.
– The "Number of loans" report has been extended with a filter on price intervals for materials (1–100 kr., 101–200 kr., etc. for DKK/NOK/SEK; 0–10 EUR, 11–20 EUR, etc. for EUR regions).

Incorrect counts in "Login per borrower" | The "Logins per month" graph in the "Logins per borrower" report has been changed. Previously, login counts for the same month were summed across years (e.g. all January logins combined). Now each month is shown for each year separately, so the development over time is clearly visible – e.g. January 2024, January 2025, etc. This gives a more accurate and readable view of login activity. |
